Coming out the other end...

Well, I think I made it! Report cards and IPPs are done, so I'm slowly trying to piece my life back together now. Funnily enough, although I've been sort of sleep deprived and not overly well-planned this week, the kids have been great and some issues have started to work themselves out... cool. I think part of my state of mind this past week is owing to this awesome speaker I saw on Monday morning. The purpose of his talk was "Resiliency in Schools" (sound exciting?!) but it forced me to stand back and look at my life a little differently. How we deal with things we don't like, how we deal with things we DO like, where are lives have been and where they are going.... We make choices, every single day and the way we act causes a reaction, and that causes a reaction, and so on. I'll work on how well I can explain this, because it runs so much deeper than this, but just let it be known that I feel like I've been walking through a bit of a daze maybe then, this week, seeing the rosy in everything and just FEELING how lucky I am right now. I know life isn't perfect but some days it sure as hell feels that way...

Booyakasha!

IT's FRIDAYYYYYYYYYY ayyayayayayayyayaya.

Some random/weird things that happened this week
-"the man" started selling Christmas things
-it snowed, and it's still here (sort of)
-I made a snowman at lunch time with the kids, Mr. Kitten
-some big meanie smashed the snowman
-I said some stupid things to Ed I wish I could take back
-I got a cold
-I went to the library and wished I could go there more often
-I got homesick for Ontario
-my heat broke, and when I called they said it was fixed. They lied.
-I keep getting home from work past 7, and it is dark then. Then I stay up till 11 doing more work.
-I feel like I should stop complaining and look forward to maybe planning a getaway for next weekend.

The end. Time to get started on this Friday.
